Roman Numbers By Aashish Sir Roman Numbers There are certain English Alphabets which are used to represent numerals in Roman.   These are  I  ,  V ,  X  ,  L   ,  C  ,  D  ,  M . These Alphabets represent different number like I           represent      1 V          represent      5 X          represent      10 L          represent      50 C          represent      100 D          represent      500 M         represent      1000 Combination of these Alphabets in a specific pattern represent different numerals in Roman Numbers. But there are some rules for using these alphabets for constructing Roman numbers Rule 1 -    We cannot place same alphabet more than three times one after other. Only I, X, C and M can be used 3 times one after other. Rule  2 -   V, L and D cannot be placed more  than once.
