Bigger Number & Smaller Number By Aashish Gupta Sir                Class 1 &  2           Bigger Number How to Find Bigger Number in 2- digit numbers Example 1 :  Which is Bigger  - 34  or 67 Step 1 :  Put given numbers in a Place Value Chart                Tens      Ones            3              4            6              7     Step 2 : Check Tens digit of both the numbers. Number having bigger Tens digit is bigger. Step 3 :Here Tens digit are  3 &  6. We know 6 is bigger than 3. So 67 is bigger than 34. Example 2 :  Which is Bigger  33 or 36 Step 1 :Put given numbers in a Place Value Chart         Tens      Ones            3              3            3              6     Step 2 : Check Tens digit of both the numbers. Number having bigger Tens digit is bigger. Step 3 :Here Tens digit are  3  &  3. Both have same Tens digit 3. So we proceed to next step. Step 4 : Since Tens digits are same, so we now compare Ones digits. Here ones digit are 3
